Hi there and welcome!! We are Bryan and Ashley, husband and wife team raising 4 amazing children.
Here in our little corner of the internet you’ll find a variety of topics from recipes to RV renovations, natural living, along with our dreams of starting a homestead and living off the land.
How it all began
In 2019, I (Ashley) approached my husband, Bryan, with the idea of selling our newly built custom home on 20 acres to buy an RV and travel the continental US. At first, he thought I was crazy…although, I don’t quite blame him. Once I shared my vision of us going on adventures and experiencing new things all while focusing our attention inward towards our family, he was in! We realized very quickly how fast time flies by when you are raising children, but also, the trap of the American Dream. We didn’t want the norm, we wanted something different. A way to redeem the time that we have left with our littles before they grow into adults.
So…we rented out our home and bought our first camper. It was a Grand Design 31mb. We made some minor changes such as taking out the couches and dinette to make it more custom for us and started making plans to go explore. Later, we completely renovated it and we will share about that.
Then. Covid hit. My husband became a remote employee overnight and we were now living in around 300 square feet and feeling quite concerned with our lack of space for food and storage. Through all of it though, the Lord reminded us that He is our provider.
Around August, we took our first trip. We made our way to North Carolina, South Carolina, up to Tennessee, then over to Kentucky to experience the Ark and the Creation Museum. We got to Virginia then decided to head up to Indiana to check out the RV manufacturers. Going on that first trip really set the stage for a beautiful adventure.
Here we are now a few years later and our goal is to have an anchored adventure. A place to live and land as well as the flexibility to travel and keep making beautiful memories with our family.

Here are a few fun facts about us!
*Ashley has never been on an airplane before and Bryan has been on more planes than he could even count!
*Our family has visited 31 states in our RV!
*Ashley was the one to propose to Bryan.
*We love DIY projects, renovations and construction, as well as home decor.
*Growing up, Ashley’s dream was to be a wife and mother and have 7 children!! I wanted to have 4 and adopt 3. We will just have to wait and see what the Lord’s plans are for that ;-).
*Cooking is Ashley’s favorite way to love on our family. ‘There’s just something so special about preparing and serving a meal that you’ve created to nourish the people that are most dear to you’.
